EV perks in Nunavut (2026)

Purchase rebates
The federal EVAP incentive gives $5,000 on a new battery EV and $2,500 on a plug-in hybrid, until March 31, 2031 or while funds last ($50,000 final transaction value price cap). Nunavut has no provincial purchase rebate, so the federal amount is the total.

Electricity rates for charging
Qulliq Energy Corporation's default residential plan, Non-government residential (domestic), charges 74.94¢/kWh (energy only). There is no EV or overnight plan, so 74.94¢/kWh is what home charging costs. Rates effective April 1, 2026.
Annual EV fee
Nunavut charges no annual EV fee.
