RoadToEV Carbon Credits: get paid 10–15¢ per kWh to charge your EV at home

RoadToEV Carbon Credits is run by RoadToEV and is available across Canada. It earns carbon credits under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations when you charge at home on a connected charger, and passes 10–15¢ per kWh back to you, paid annual - around july 1 for the previous year. At 300 kWh of home charging a month that is roughly $360 a year once past any starting tier. Caveats

  • FAQ: 5¢/kWh for April-June 2026, 10¢ from July 1 2026; from August 15 2026 every 5 eligible referrals add 1¢/kWh (max +5¢), starting the day after the milestone and not retroactively.
  • FAQ: $20 in Carbon Credits to both parties per eligible referral (Canadian residents only), plus $10 in Volt Points usable only inside the platform.
  • Members report sign-up has been via an existing member (Ambassador).
  • Same Tesla-data concerns as WattsApp.
